Seeing friends I haven't seen in awhile and being shocked at how much their kids have grown!

Reconnecting with a guy who treats me like a girl should be treated, even though I'm jaded. :) Plus he's 6'5! AND he enjoys working out regularly, which pushes me to work hard too. Me like. Ha.

Hot days. Waking up to 18 degree weather (65 degrees fahrenheit for those southern readers) at 8AM and getting to 30 degrees by the afternoon. (86 degrees fahrenheit).
Slip N Slides in the backyard! Yeah!
Soccer games once a week with my friends from highschool.
Getting a phonecall from my friend Adam who lives in Halifax telling me he is here to visit. Going for dinner and meeting his awesome girlfriend!
Going grocery shopping on 15% Tuesdays and spending nearly $200 but it only costing me $125! (Safeway card and discount) :)

Summer holidays! August can't come soon enough!
That picture from above with Nyla and Taylor? My friend Michelle, is sister in law to one of my friends - Pam (whose kids are Taylor, Ava and Mason) and her and her husband finally got to take home sweet Nyla from Ethiopia. It was a loooooong process, they waited almost two years (Nyla is 2.5 years old) to finally bring her home. She is adjusting well, still learning her English words slowly, but it will come. She is getting along great with her siblings (Michelle has two others - Jaden and Carter) and her cousins! I'm so happy for them!
